Jim Muehlbauer

Executive Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Jim Muehlbauer is executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer for Best Buy Co., Inc., a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services. In his role, Muehlbauer leads Best Buy’s financial activities including decision support, strategic planning, performance management, accounting and reporting, investor relations, audit, tax and treasury functions.

Muehlbauer joined Best Buy in 2002 as senior vice president of enterprise finance. He was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Best Buy’s U.S. business in 2006, where he led financial activities supporting Best Buy’s retail, merchandising, marketing, supply chain and real estate capabilities.
