MINNEAPOLIS, April 10, 2006 — Just one year after announcing plans to improve customer experiences by eliminating mail-in rebates, Best Buy reached another milestone this month by eliminating nearly all mail-in rebates on computers and computer-related merchandise. Customers purchasing desktop computers, monitors, most printers and most computer accessories now will benefit from instant savings, rather than having to wait for rebates via mail. The company previously announced instant savings available on notebook computers in January.
